    Must say that is a very well done piece. I like the rp lid and I couldn't see anything at all wrong with panels on the front and end anyway. Well done. Like Dennis I'm glad to see another arkie on the board. Welcome, chime in often.
    Just keep working on it. It'll give up and do right after a while.

    Really great looking job.

    Just curious, what did you do on the inside? Is it finished too? With what. Did you glue in some aromatic cedar?

    I hate to sound like another broken record, but had to join the rest in saying congrats on a fantastick project. That thing is beautiful inside and out.

    Excellent job and your finish is great. Thats same routine I do w cherry (BLO, shellac, Varnish) but yours has a nice warmer look of to it. Great work..

    I put a shelac finish on the inside, no varnish. Glued the cedar to birch ply substrate (cedar is 1/16" thick). Then put the cedar in a rabbit on the bottom.
