Talking Trying out the new Camera.......and a pen

This is sort of an equipment gloat, too. I just got a new Nikon D50 camera to spruce up the picture taking...... Aw, heck, it's really for vacations, but it will help with the photography of my work, too.

Here's a Baron pen turned using crushed velvet. The pictures are so much clearer than my old digital. Couldn't be happier!!

Very nice...a double gloat...great pen and good investment in your photography. (I've been pleased with my D70 and the D50 really leverages what Nikon learned from the older models very nicely)

Congrats on the new camera and a beauty of a pen. I recently updated to a new PC and my old camera will not work with the new computer so I am looking. Again, beautiful pen!

    you are killing me buddy.
I just sold my D70s I got in october to upgrade to the D200.
then I got hit by lens lust and got the Nikon lenses 12-24/4, 17-55/2.8, 70-200/2.8, the 50mm/1.8 and the SB-800.
I am turning a lot but do take breaks to go outside and take pictures.

have fun with the new camera, it's so much fun as well

good hearing from you and I really like the pen, nice pic
