    Hardwood Plywood

I'm having a hard timie finding 1/4', 3/4" plywood with a variety of veneered surfaces such as Cherry, Maple, Oak, Walnut etc. (Ok, maybe Oak is available but...)

By the same token, these types of solid wood are hard to find, except for red oak and maple, at the Lowes and Home Depots of the world.

Where does everyone get this stuff.

Don't know where you would get the various species in NY, but in my neck of the woods to get cherry, walnut and the various other hardwood in both plywood and solid I have to go to a hardwood lumber suppy/lumber yard. Maple is sometimes available at "regular" lumber yards but not very often.

If you have an Austin Hardwoods in your area they will probably have it.. The one near me has just about everything as far as sheet goods. I am sure other hardwood suppliers will have it as well.

You can try calling Roberts Plywood in Deer Park if that's anywhere near you, looks like 40 miles though. www.getwood.com not everyone carries Claro Walnut Cluster. They might even have something simple like maple.

    Hi Tom,

If no luck nearby you can order pretty much any species from www.wallslumber.com , they have good prices even factoring in shipping.
