    Alcohol source?

Anyone found a source for alcohol by the gallon at a reasonable price? The local BORG is like 10 bucks a gallon. I would like to find a source that is a bit cheaper.

If you can find it in 5 gal bucket you will save almost the cost of one gallon, thats how I buy mine. If you have a hardware store they can order it if its not in stock, I get mine form a mom and pop hardware I think some buy it from Ace too. if you plan on using the DNA method you will use it!

Ace Hardware sells it in the 5 gal can for about $40. It's like getting a gal free.

I understand your problem, Chris. But, if you know the barkeep, sometimes you do a bit better.

Thank you Alan. I'm not sure if I'm especially dense this morning, or if it's because I don't imbibe - I didn't get Chris' joke. Fine one at that too Chris - now that it's been explained to me.

Jeff I just bought 5 gal. from the local Do-It-Center. It is $64.75 for 5 one gallon cans but buying it in a 5 gallon can it was $39.50. So I saved $25. They carry it in their paint section.

I get mine out of the 10000 gallon tanks outside my office and pay accounting the daily rate. Today, I just bought 3 gallons for $2.67.

I wish I could share with everyone....but Hazmat shipping charges would take it sky high.
