While I know that overall enthusiasm for The Woodworking Shows is more on the valley side of a peak and valley, I just wanted to remind you guys that the while there is no spring show here in Chicago, there is a show next week in Milwaukee.

Yeah. Interesting as they sent me a reminder card with the buck-off coupon for the Milwaukee show. Never got one for a non-Chicago show before.
Seems like they are cutting back on the shows and widening the advertisements.
Oh, my take on the show quality thing. I gave up on going for deals years ago. Now it is just to eyeball new stuff, compare odd items and see the classes. I chalk up the cost to instructional expenses. For deals I'll shop the Rockler and Woodcraft sales. Or Farm and Fleet (good sales there occasionally)

I went once never again. It cost more for parking & entry than it was worth. I'll use the money saved to buy tools or wood.
I usually find it much easier to be wrong once in while than to try to be perfect.
