    Garage toy box/beverage box (pics)

    Here is a toy box that I finished a few weeks ago.

    This is fairly large and will hold "most" of the kids' outdoor toys as well as a lot of soda, water, fruit drinks etc.

    First picture is a quarter view.

    Second is front view

    Third is Christina opening the lid to the beverage compartment

    Fourth pic is the bottom drawer with most of the toys inside.

    Fifth pic the top showing the bread board edge.

    The top and the rail and styles are poplar the recessed panels is 1/4 inch birch and poplar ply. Drawer carcas is 1/2 ply. The finish is Gel Stain Candlelite with some wax on the top. I used a buffer to burnish the top and it came out really nice. I don't think the pics show the lustre.
