?? About The Porter-Cable HVLP Gravity Gun

Hi all -

I'm getting set to pull the trigger so to speak on finally spraying my finishes.

I've got a 25-gal P-C oil-lubed compressor with 8+ CFM @ 40 PSI so I figure I'm kind of OK on that score.

Does anyone have any first-hand experience with the P-C HVLP PSH1 gun?

Unfortunately, the selection you take for granted in the US doesn't apply here in Canada....

If I order something from the US through a catalogue, I've got to include -
- shipping
- $C/USD exchange (on the product AND the shipping)
- Federal cash grab (GST - goods & service tax)
- Provincial extortion(PST - provincial sales tax)
- "brokerage charges" by courier companies
So you can see that it becomes something of a bite.

The P-C gun is sold widely here in Toronto.
If anybody has first-hand knowledge of the gun, I'd sure appreciate your help.

I've got three of them in my finish room Howard. Use them all the time. What do you need to know about them?

Like Steve, I have one (not 3 like him; I wish). You should have plenty of volume flow from you compressor for it to work fine. Not quite as fine as a HVLP non-conversion type gun but, darn close.
