I usually find it much easier to be wrong once in while than to try to be perfect.

My web page has a pop up. It is a free site, just close the pop up on the right side of the screen

Yes, they are called Isabella. We had one for 13 years.

Sorry I missed this one earlier.

Wife and I ran a dog training business for a few years and are still very involved in rescue.

There are four "colors" of dob's/ Black, Red, Blue and Fawn.

If you are looking for one be sure to do some research and get one from a responsible breeder. The dilute colors (blue and fawn) can have some serious health issues, particularly skin conditions. All the others can also, just usually to a lower % then the others.

With a little work they can be great dogs. I have had several come through as rescues.

For best results, try not to do anything stupid.

When I was a teenaged kid, we raised a series of four dobies...one red and three blacks. I remember we also looked at a litter of blue ones, but for some reason we didn't get one. I've only seen fawn-colored dobies in pictures. They were nice dogs to have, but their personalities really can vary, even with fairly similar upbringing.

Out of the four dogs we raised, two were friendly, but relatively stupid, and managed to get lost or be stolen by the age of five, one was a great family dog with a huge sense of humor who lived to old age at home, and the fourth one was very smart, but had a sneaky streak, and eventually became too unpredictable to keep in a family setting. We got her a "retirement" job at an electric co-op where she had about 5 acres of well-fenced area to guard and call her own. She did her job there for quite a few years until she died of old age.

They were all fun to raise, but their mileage really varied. I've since had mixed-breed mutts that I liked as much or more.
