    Electrolysis Question?"

I've got an electrolysis system working. It seems to be working pretty well. The first part, a gear came out after 4 hours clean. My question is, my battery charger has the option of "Manual" or "Automatic." My understanding is that when charging a battery, leave it on automatic and the battery won't overcharge. For electrolysis though, I've got it on "Manual" because I want it to keep working.

Does this sound correct to you all?

Leave it on manual, you want a constant current flow.

No, I'm not an electrician. Any information I share is purely what I would do myself. If in doubt, hire an electrician!

For a very interesting story about using electrolsys to save an old vise. Check out this link.

This is a great guy, although rather "Eccentric". He hangs out at "Shopfloortalk" a sight for weldors that I hang out at.
