Crack in the side of a Cherry Lowboy:-(

    Hi:

Well, I don't know how long it has been there, but tonight while I was watching the TV, I happened to look at my Cherry Lowboy that I built about 11 years ago , and saw that there is a crack where the two boards were glued together. It does not run all the way across, maybe a couple of inches long. the crack is wide enough that my fingernail can easily fit in the crack.

Any suggestions on fixing it so that it does not show? The finish is 6 coats of Tung Oil with 4 or 5 coats of wipe on Poly on top of that.

    Thanks,

Sorry about your predicament... Maybe shellac sticks (aka burn-in sticks)?
