    Congrats to Gail O' Rourke

Yes, another of the Creeker's has been in a publication. I was over at the local B& N tday, and noticed a magazine called Woodworking for Women. A new one for me, but it seems reasonably good. In any case, the May 2006 issue has a story about our very own Gail O'Rourke. Just had time to scan it, but seemed interesting. The magazine also had some good projects, including a wine rack of Gail's design.

    Good work, Gail!

Hey, thanks! I just got mine in the mail last week or so. My friend Tom Iovino wrote the bio about me and I wrote the project plan for the small wine cabinet.

I chose to write a plan for this project because it was the very first piece I ever made woodworking. Can I say that I also designed it if I made it up as I went along? It was fun to do it a second time and write the project up. It has a lovely home in my dining room.

Something fun to show my grandkids some day.

Am I allowed to put the link? www.woodworkingforwomenmagazine.com has the project that I wrote on their main page - you can even download the plans. Pretty cool. The bio is on my site. Thanks everybody.
