    Resin (epoxy?) coated plywood

My local woodcraft used to have some in 24"x36" sheets. It's a reddish color and 1/2" thick and supposed to be waterproof. Any place else i can get some?

The significant problems we encounter cannot be solved at the same level of thinking we were at when we created them.

Brian, I think that was phenolic (sp?) coated. You might be able to get something like it from Woodpeck.

    Brian,

If you cannot find it premade it is not very hard to make it up yourself. I have built a couple of small boats using West System Epoxy and when all pieces are totaly coated they are waterproof. You can flow coat it on each side and sand it very smooth. I used the dingy in salt water for over ten years and it was still going strong. Needless ot say you really have to soak the epoxy into the end grain.

I do not know what you are going to use it for but if you need to bend it into a fair curve you need to use marine plywood, otherwise exterior grade will do.

    Brian,

I think this may be what you are looking for, although I'm not sure where to get it near you.
