Welcome Al!!!!
Al,
Welcome to the creek. The best woodworing forum on the internet, where the water is always just right. Beware though we do have picture police so if you talk about a tool or a project remember to post a picture with it or else they'll tell you it didn't happen. Take some pistures of your shop and post them. Especially your Lathe and bandsaw...
Welcome to the Creek Al. Lars
Welcome Al,
I too am new to this group, it takes time but I'm sure as a wood worm we will work our ways into the larger group of communicators. I am always open to new persons learning new directions in their life skills.
Again, WELCOME to the "CREEKERS" (that is one of their synonyms)

Al and George (and any other new folks watching)...welcome aboard. Lots of helpful people here, and most of the answers are right. Seriously, the depth and breadth of experience and knowledge here is amazing, and with very few exceptions, even arguments are done politely. We'll be looking forward to pics from both of you.

Welcome to Saw Mill Creek both Al and George.
I have learned very very much here in the slightly more than two years I have been a member. I hope that you both find the place as friendly and helpfull as I did and do.
Welcome Al and George
Lots of friendly people here, as long as you post pics! (just kidding)

Welcome to both of you, Al & George! I think you've stumbled upon one of the premier WW sites around and we'd love to hear more from you! And Al, being new to WW probably means you may have quite a few questions. Never fear in asking them. We ALL had to learn some how and some way. For me, I'm still asking dumb questions but, getting smart answers right here! Come often, stay long and don't forget to include pics whenever you can!
Cheers,
