A couple of blo and cherry darkening questions

Need some input on cherry finishing,

    1. If I use blo on cherry wood will it still darken over time?
    2. Will cherry still "suntan" with blo over it?
    3. should a person wait a few days after sanding cherry to use blo, it seems to take alot of the darkness out of it when I sand.

Thanks for all the input as usual!!

In my experience, cherry darkens faster under BLO than without.

    Jeff,

There is no need to wait between sanding and BLO application.

I put BLO on my cherry, then let it sit in the sun for a couple hours or maybe half a day. You may need more time up north.

Don't worry, the BLO won't stop it from darkening. In fact, I think it helps it along.
