Thread: Composite Lumber for a trailer deck?

    Another point to add is the expansion issues - a friend did his trailer a few years ago and had it buckle because he fit it too tight. Not sure if that is an issue with the composites that are highly filled or not. He pulled it out and went with white oak.

    In the interest of bringing this thread full circle, I ended up going with pressure treated lumber. I used 5/4 by 6 deck material for the decking and sides and it turned out nice. I'll post a picture in another thread.
