Osborne EB 2 vs EB 3

Can anyone tell me the differences?

I have an oppty to buy an EB 2 and don't know what improvements were made with the EB3.

    Thanks

Joe, I just ordered an EB-3. I believe the EB-3 has an eccentric bolt that allows you to calibrate the unit to your saw. Also, the EB-3 is actually made by Excalibur, rather than Osborne. I also saw a review somewhere that compared the two, but I can't recall where it was. (You might try a Google search.)

    Joe:

I can't speak to the differences, but I've been using the EB-2 for a few years. It has stayed true and square, even after a cross-country move from Boston to Chicago. The detents at 0, 45, and 22.5 degrees have been dead-on from day one.

I have the EB-3 and it has the eccentric fine adjustment. Not accurate or doodaddy enough for some here but it works very well for my style of woodbutchering. Norm likes it too!!
