    Proud Papa again!

My youngest son who spent 5 1/2 years active duty as an officer in the Navy is currently just starting dental school at the University of Texas Houston. He called today. He won a Navy scholarship to pay for his dental school. In return, he has to serve as 4 years active duty as a dentist. Tough duty, I'm sure!

    Ken,

That is great! Man, I sure hope my little Pride 'n Joy lands scholarships! College expenses may cripple us by the time she is ready! Let's hope she got her Mommy's smarts!

Congrats Ken. I think the time he'll have to serve will be worth the education.

That's Great, Ken. It's always a real pleasure to see our Kids do well, and especially when they work hard enough to "make their own Good Luck". It not only speaks well of the Kids, but speaks well of the "Parenting" they got as well. So my CONGRATULATIONS to both your Son, and his Parents too.

Gee, since he will be working with those miniature "Spinning Tools" all day, I wonder what kind of Hobby "HE" will take up? (Probably Computers or Sump'n).
