    Game recipes?

Woodworking has had to take a back seat for a while since I have discovered GUNS.......now this is fun.........

Anyhoo, wonder if any of you guys could share some of your "only one way to cook...." recipes......looking for quail, dove and rabbit just for now.

if you have any known good URL's for recipes too, I'd be grateful.

    cheers

ONe of my favorites is Quail stuffed with Goats cheese the bird wrapped in bacon. Then tossed on the barbie.

Need a little fat on those lean things.

Our Arkansas PBS TV station, Arkansas Educational Television Network (AETN) has a popular show called Arkansas Outdoors. It features a nice woman (who lives not far from me) named Phyllis Speer who does game cooking. She and the show are very popular. Phyllis has three or four cookbooks out with the kinds of recipies you are looking for. Click on:

and follow the leads. You can write and ask for the books.
Her main job is with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Also try:
