    OK Keith and Travis....

    Really like the platters, and would like to know (dumb me) how you get the "chattered" edge.

    On mine it is not actually "chattered" but burnt in with the "Stinson" burning tool. Travis' was done with the same tool but different design on his burning tool/wire. I may be wrong but I thing he posted a pic of it with his Shallow Pecan bowl. Hope this helps

    It's more like a branding iron than a burning pen. The Pecan's pattern was made by a small coil of about 5 tight wraps, then repeating the "brand" LOTS of times around the rim.
