    Wood Gloat Finally

Well to start I forgot my camera so I didn't get any pics of the actual event but I do have them of the end product. I finally got to visit Mark Cothren in Conway today. Unfortunately, I was only able to visit with Mark for an hour and a half or so and I got to meet his lovely wife, Renell. Mark has a great 24' x 30' foot spacious shop and it is well organized. Anyway it was a great visit in my book. The pics show the wood. On the left are 5 chunks of black cherry, then a black cherry crotch (for a platter) then a chunk of pecan and the last one is hackberry.
    THANKS MARK !!!!!!!

    Cool Keith, about time!
Wow, I guess Mark really DID hide the big chunks of Cherry........

  6. Man, I came home from work today and noticed somebody had broken into my shop and stole some of my wood...

After I got thru filing a police report I come on here and see Keith posted that he came by for a visit. And then I see my missing wood....

Enjoyed the visit, Keith! And for the record, that is a chunk of Pecan on the left side, sitting on top of those two pieces of Cherry. The piece that is second from the right is Birch from Kentucky.

    ENJOY!!!!!!!!!

Nice haul Keith. Say, I'll give you 20 bucks for the directions to this wood storage place... and the times that guy wont be there.
