For anyone interested, The 2nd largest gathering of woodturners in th US is happening this Friday, Saturday & Sunday 9/28 thru 10/01 in Temple
Texas. It should be fun, especially for someone who's never been to one of these (me). Demonstrators include Dave Hout, Andre Martel, David
Nittmann, Andi Wolfe & Clay Foster along with 16 others will be there.

My first time too. Have never met another woodturner in person (that I know of), so I am expecting to be totally overwhelmed.
