I am a Scoutmaster with a small troop. It would take a miracle to get (some of) my boys into shape for Philmont. I'd sure like to go though.

I was thinking that too. My son works summers as medic at Camp Parsons on the Hood Canal. My wife and I go to the last campfire of the year, and there are these guys in their 80's that always show up, who worked there years ago. So I guess this group isn't that old!

Was that the Philmont Staff Association trek? If so, I wish I could have been there. I will be there next summer for the 50th Anniversary of the Philmont Rangers.

I want to go back to Philmont!

Been there summer of 1961, I believe. I got my Eagle badge about 6 months later.
