    A small found wood pot.........

    This is a small, 4"h X 4.5"w, spalted, wormy found wood pot. It is finished simply with BLO and wax. I had this small piece of wood laying around the shop for about six years and I thought it was high time I did something with it.

    I don't know what kind of wood this is, I suspect it might be elm. If anyone can identify it, please do so. The only thing I know for CERTAIN is that it is not mulberry (as the coloration and grain pattern might suggest to some).....

    That is a pretty pot. I don't have any idea what wood it is.
