  12. heh. last time I tried to do a "real" flattening of a smallish plane blade, I looked the other way and sliced a deep gouge in my thumb. Clearly I have the wrong equipment as it can't be MY fault, right?....

    fortunately (or not) it was so damn sharp by that point i hardly felt it (at first). So i bled all over the place till I noticed and almost gave my wife a heart attack.

    heh.
    that'll teach me!
