I am finished with my bonnet top highboy except the curved open pediment crown moldings. Does anyone have instructions/information on how to hand carve these?

Hi David, there's good information in the Taunton book on Period furniture details by Lonnie Bird.

I have L. Bird's book along with many others that show how to make the molding using a shaper, router, overhead router and a radial arm saw. I am looking for hand made/carved. I don't like the looks of any of the machine set-ups. The only hand made information I can find is by Eugene Landon for a Tall-Case Clock in FINE WOODWORKING ON MAKING PERIOD FURNITURE. Maybe that is all the information that is available?
I believe that Fine Woodworking magazine had an article about it. I'm searching, I'll let you know what I find
