    Photoshop Output

What file type ( if any ) can someone save a Photoshop logo in, such that it imports into Corel as a vector file?

I think I know the answer - NONE but I can hope.

Photoshop is a bitmapped program and Corel is Vector based.

You can export paths out of photoshop. PM me if you need to know.

Another useful trick, Photoshop supports SPOT Colors. Switch your logo to SPOTS. When you open it in a vector program, like Corel, you can add outlines and delete the fills. Works good for me!

Well, Photoshop really is designed to be a raster program. However, if you scale up and export as a high resolution .TIF, .PNG, .JPG, etc, it should trace really well in Corel.

After the trace, you can then scale your new perfect vector object back down

None that I've been able to find.

Photoshop does allow creation of "paths" and vector shapes, but none of the formats I've tried end up with those items coming into CD X3 as vectors. And of course the bitmap image part of any Photoshop image won't come into any program as vectors.

If you convert elements to a SPOT color, they work in Illustrator and Corel as Vector in the fact that you can set a stroke on them (Vector) and then you can delete the fill. I do this on almost a daily basis in my full time job. It works. It is not theory. Try it. Photoshop supports Spot Channels.

And worst case, like someone said earlier, you can export the paths to Illustrator, and they seem to open just fine in Corel 12 and X3.
