Oneway Termite Tool

Has anyone used the oneway termite tool and what do you think off it.

I do kiln dryed and green wood, end grain and cross grain.

I do hollowing now but iam looking at another method for doing the hollowing (price is a factor). at present i go 6" deep.

I've been using the Termite for quite a while. It works it's best when you actualy follow thier instructions... never mind how I know that.
Worked over handle deep with it many times. No problems. Easy to work by feel when you can not see into the hole. It will ocationaly clog, depending on the material, but it's easy to knock the chips out. Easy to sharpen too.

Well worth the money.

i also have been using the Termite for some time now, see the link below for my review of it.
I have to admit that when I first saw it, I thought perhaps the good folks at Oneway had developed a few bubbles in the think tank. As it turns out, the Termite is a great tool that is surprisngly easy to use. If you turn inside just about anything, you will like this tool. I have used it on the outside of ambrosia maple bowls, also with very good results,
My biggest question about the Termite is how do you arrive at thinking up something like this!

I haven't used mine extensively, as of yet but, on those occasions that I have, it's been great! Dry wood? No problems! Actually, I think it does better in dry stuff, as it doesn't clog up quite as easily.

Wish I'd seen it when I first bought my Termite Tool (you can make it catch, but you do have to work at it...)
