Smile WWII TK like everyone says

Just got it from Amazon ($80.95 delivered) and did the techie geek thing. I got a piece of 3/4 birch plywood and cut 2 sides (rip and xcut) with the brand new (did maybe 10 cuts on it) Delta 40 tooth thin kerf balde that came "free" with my new saw. I then put the WWII on and did the other 2 sides... as they say like butta.

The cuts are super smooth and it took much less effort to feed. Amazing!!! Worth the 2x the cost of the other blades I have bought.

I guess I am finally learning, buy quality and cry once...
Busy scanning the "honey do" list for tool buying opportunities.

Cool! Forrest also does excellent re-sharpening too.

I was also slow to learn. Always watch for sales and bargains but, a bargain is not a great price for a mediocre cutter. Nuff said.

Not a bad price for a WWII, but you could have done that comparison test with almost any quality blade that is more than $40 and been amazed by the difference if you had never used a quality blade before.

The local Rockler store often has a 25% off coupon in sales flyer that Rockler sends out. Good on one item. They sell WWII for 105.99, less 25%, which brings it to $79.99 and tax. No waiting for delivery, but you do have to pay sales tax. Here that would be $5.56, for a total price of $85.55 Recently I spent $52.00 having my WWII resharpened and a couple of teeth replaced. The work was done by Forrest.
