    Norm's NYW

Reading the recent thread about Norm Abram's New Yankee Workshop and its possible demise has me both sad and wondering. I know that you can purchase each individual show of his, but does anyone know of a way to buy a DVD of a multitude of his shows. I would absolutely love to have a copy of each of his shows (I know, I know - there are a ton) but I know that I am going to miss his shows once they are gone. Does anyone know of such a bird, or any plans to offer such a thing?

I'm hoping they will have NYW Classics like they have done with This Old House. I love watching those. A DVD set of all the episodes on it would be very expensive, but I'd sure be interested if they do make one.

On the NYW website they list multiple show DVD's.

EDIT: After looking at it again it appears to be single shows on DVD.

    Cool

Each DVD, comes in a fitted case and includes the plan needed to build the project. The DVD is identical to the VCR version although the quality is vastly improved and the introductory menu with multiple chapters means a user can get directly to what he wants quickly. Finally, for those viewers who want to see more detail, the freeze frame capability is perfect.
The DVDs are only for one episode each. They are $24.95 each project.

NYW is a moneymaker. Even if Norm decides to retire...and he's had a LOT of seaons hosting the show--I couldn't blame him from considering it...it is unlikely that Russ Morash would kill a cash cow by not continuing to offer the shows. And, of course...there is TIVO or other DRV solutions...
