Can someone turn a handle for me?

I am building a rocking horse for my 19 month old daughter. I am almost finished (supposed to have been done by Christmas) and the plan that I am using calls for a turned maple handle. I could use a dowel, but the rocker is turning out so nice that I hate to use one. A Rikon lathe is on the wish list, but I can't probably swing it until Feb or March. So, I was wondering if anyone could turn a a handle for me and tell me how much it will cost me. The handle is 3/4" thick and about 7" long. I could supply the maple, preferably someone in or near Baltimore, MD. Thanks

Kevin post this in the turner's forum of the Creek. Pretty sure there is someone in your neighborhood or will do it and send it to you pretty reasonable. But your best bet is to repost this in that section. If no one responds, don't have years under my belt as a turner but would help you out if all else fails.
