Stanley Maroon Bed plane

Can anyone tell me the years that Stanley made a maroon bed #4? I recently obtained a newish one, with hardwood handles, and a 2 pc yoke, non-brass knurled knob.

I have a block plane of that color and it was from the 70's. (if I remember right)
