    Thanks Jim, but I'm just trying to raise the bar on my self! The thing is that part of the log wasn't worth turning last year, I was preping it for "land fill" last week and decided it was a keeper!

    Very, very nice Anthony! I like the shape of the spalted maple a little bit more than the ambrosia maple, but that wormy stuff is extraordinary! Both pieces are beautiful. How about some sizes for us?

    The spalted piece is about 5" dia x 6" tall, the second was 9" dia and was sold to a British man along with 3 other turnings. Does that mean I'm an "internationally known" turner now
