    Unable To View Attatchments (Resolved)

I am new to this forum and must say it is a real find for me particularily the laser engraver cnc router thread !
I am unable to view any attatchments. They open but all I end up with is jumble of text. I tried several different attatchments and they are all the same.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks .... Frankl

    Hi Keith,

I tried again to view Carol Van Arnam's wine bottle attatchment in the lasers and cnc routers thread and am still getting a jumle of text and figures. I checked my email again and I have received a registration confirmation.

Frank, if you are using FireFox, you'll need to right click on a ZIP attachment, and download to your machine before you open it.

    Frank,

    Right click, and Save As.
It's up to your browser to interpret what kind of file it's downloading. If you see just a jumble of characters, your browser is not recognizing the file type.

Thanks Aaron that did the trick. I was able to open it with Corel 12 after saving it to the desktop. However it just begs the question " How do I configure my browser to open these attatchments? "

    Thanks Frank
