    forum sort options

    Is there a way?

I start by clicking on New Posts when I log on. I'd like to see the new posts sorted by forum.

Is there a way to set that?

I did not post my question clearly. I'm sorry.

    I have the page bookmarked.

What I want to be able to do is sort the new posts by forum, so posts in each forum are grouped together on the screen, rather than go from a General Woodworking post to a Support Post to an Turning Post. As it is I work my way down the posts in linear order but the posts on displayed in chronological order fo posting. Don't want that. Want them group together by forum. Hope that is clearer. But thanks for trying to help.

I had asked a similar question earlier and it seems that the option is not available in the forum software.

    Too many posts?

I’ve always advocated the “New Posts” button, but no longer. With 200+ posts/day, it’s becoming harder & harder for me to keep up. From now on I’m just going to go directly to forum that holds primary interest to me, “General Woodworking and Power Tools” and skip the rest. I know that I’ll miss some good stuff but my sanity requires the change. I still don’t understand why vBulletin won’t allow New Posts sorting by forum.
