    minwax poly over polycrylic

Can I put Minwax quick drying poly over a first coat of minwax water based polycrylic?

    Thanks,

    Ken

Yes, once you scuff it as you must between coats of polyurethane. But why not just use one type?

Jim that is a very fair question

One of those oops moments I guess. I had some polycrylic, and I figured it would be a good way to use it up, as a first coat under a couple more of poly. After I applied the finish, I had second thoughts...

    Thanks for the reassurance.
