The price of the floor standing stand would buy a decent used contractor saw. The smaller stand (fence support?) would keep you small if that is the requirement.

I owned one before I bought my second saw. The product is well-made and provides a quality fence and work surface. It's really designed for contractors to use on the job site as an alternative to a heavier "contractors' style saw" and makes a direct drive "benchtop" saw a lot more functional. That said, it really adds to the cost for a hobbiest woodworker that might be better saved to upgrade to a more capable saw...especially considering it costs as much or more than many of the benchtop saws it's designed to serve.

Right now I wont to add a 14'' grizzly bandsaw, so that might replace the benchtop I dont know I would have to see.
