    Some more salvage work ...

Here are the smaller mirror frames I made using a couple of "oops" from projects. One was supposed to be a coaster and the cocobola one started out as a small bowl. Funny how thin that bottom can get very quickly using a scraper. Anyway, I finished hollowing the bottoms and made these frames out of them. Handy little pocket mirrors, or to keep in a desk. My wife took one to put a candle on. Fun little things to do. My next challenge is to make a mirror and turn a handle for it. Wish me luck. Thanks for looking.

    Thumbs up Oops!

    Ron,

If all of your mistakes turn out as good as all your bowls to mirror frames, you ought to make more mistakes!

Seriously, the ones in both posts look great. That is really a good idea. Just a short step to picture frames too.

    Ron,

I wish ANY of my mistakes looked that good. Mine are usually just kindling.

    Great job!!!

Some day I want to get a lathe. I don't know whether I need any more addictions right now.
