    Dust deputy with central vac?

I just received my Dust Deputy and I'm thinking of putting it on the cental vac line. I saw a couple pictures of installations like this on the Oneida site.

I'm worried about to much succion for the cyclone (it will be close to the vac) and/or reducing suction in the rest of the house.

The vac is in the garage/worksop, easy access and a plug in for the vac hose (I have a cheaper all plastic hose for the garage).

    Thanks.

I found a bit of time today so I plumbed the DD into the vac line. My setup placed the DD about 4 feet from the vac with 1 90 degree elbow, so it's pretty close.

While I was vaccuming some stuff off the floor during my test run the tip of the hose got plugged up and I heard a crash towards the vac, I looked over and saw that the 5 gal pail had imploded! Guess I'll be looking for a metal container!

I looked in the pail and there is some stuff in the bottow, I'll try it with a new bag in the vac next time to see if stuff gets thru.

    Cheers.
