    Screen frame Spline Groove Depth

I have to make some screen frames for my porch and need to know if any of you know what the width and depth of the spline groove should be.
    Thanks for your help,

Depends on how you are setting the screen in - - and - - what type of screen you are using. If it's thick heavy screen it'll want to be deeper. If you are using a wood spline to glue in place I'd set it fairly deep to maximize the glue surface. If you are using a soft pliable screen and that rubber gasket material then only a little deeper than the gasket will do nicely.
