Need HELP? Removing water spots from crystal vases?

Do any of you have any experience removing water spots from crystal vases. Any help is much appreciated.

The first thing to try is vinegar on a cotton cloth.

The second is a mild abrasive polish such as your plastic polishes or car polish. Use cotton cloths not abrasive pads.

Thank you Mike, we are going to work as we speak. I'll let you know if it works.

It worked GREAT! Thank you, thank you, thank you. You saved our lives. It came off really easy, easier than I thought it might. There were only 16 vases (due by the 19th) and all is done. Thank you again Mike.

    God Bless,

Glad it worked--I had no doubt about the vinegar. It was my Grandma's way.

An even easier way. In fact I'd recommend it to everyone who uses a laser engraver.

Purchase two micro-fibre cloths. Use one damp (not soaking) to wet the surface and wipe/rub it down. Then final wipe over with the second cloth. No streaks, nice shine, no hard work, no detergent.

When they get dirty throw them in the washing machine but DO NOT USE fabric conditioner as it will ruin them. They work fantastic on all polished surfaces and make easy work of them, ESPECIALLY mirrors.

PS. I don't actually have any shares in micro-fibre or any other companies, I just know that a good product is worth mentioning. This is one of them.

PPS. Do you know if you get chewing gum on your clothing, shoes in your hair - use WD40, it melts the chewing gum and then just wipes of in cumbly little bits but causes no damage. (I don't have any shares in WD40 or chewing gum companies either) Getting the smell of the WD40 out is your problem!
