That could very well solve my squirrel problem.
When I get more than 5 squirrels on my place I live trap them and take them to the forest and let them go. I could save a lot of money on gas by doing it your way but would probably die of laughter.

That's funny.

I had some really aggressive squirrels at the bird feeder one year. I have a 25 foot drop of plastic coated steel cable (dog run cable) supporting my wife's feeder about 10 feet off the ground. I thought it was absolutely squirrel proof till I observed the tree rats shimming down the cable.

One can almost guess how I solved that problem.
