I ran across this set of plans on line in the manual for a Nova DVR 3000 lathe. Maybe this will give you some ideas on building your stand. I am interested in the Jet 1220 myself. I have read about it but have not seen one yet. Look forward to your review of it.

Thanks! I just got word that the extension is in, so hopefully i will get turning soon! But i obviously gotta have something to put it on!! Will let you know once i get it all set up!!
