Seriously though, that is an interesting looking plane. I like the weave pattern in the carving; could be a good winter project. Thanks for sharing it.

Adriaan try the above site, it is very interesting, as it shows a lot of Viking furniture, and even a tool box excavated from a dig. There are also a ton of links as well.
Craftsmanship is the skill employed in making a thing properly, and a good craftsman is one who has complete mastery over his tools and material, and who uses them with skill and honesty.
