    Question Sycamore finishing?

    I made a pretty good score on some sycamore a couple of weeks ago and have been roughing out some bowls. This is my first experience with sycamore and I love how it turns.

    What is your favorite finish for sycamore?

    I have not worked with it (yet) but David Marks did a sycamore and ebony bowl on a Wood Works show which has been rerun on the DIY channel. A picture is available on the DIY web site. Marks of course used his favorite finish, tung oil, and it looked great.
