    I'm a minority!

A young 61. Still have 10 fingers(mostly), teeth, hair, and never work more than 8 hours a day. Broke, house broke, broken down(just artheritis), and broken arches. Ain't life fun?

I'm thinking we should have a poll on what Dennis' next poll will be!

I guess I can't knock Dennis, I keep responding to them!

Bob, sneaking up on 50 this year.

16 more days and I will pass the 84 year mark. Still enjoy every day and thank the good Lord for each one.

Just like the saw brand pole, I'm in the majority, thus far, at 47.

    Hi,

I am new to SMC. Mark Singer from Laguna Beach sent me the link and said this was a great web page with a great group of woodworkers. I met Mark a couple of months ago. There is no disputing he knows a lot about woodworking and design. I have enjoyed our conversations and time spent in the shop.

I am 30 years old and have been woodworking for approximately 4 1/2 years. I spent the first few years refining my skills by making several shop cabinets and some furniture for my home.

I look forward to sharing ideas and shop stories with the group and of course . . . learning from the group's collective experience.

At 38 I seem to be a little below the average age, but I'm catching up fast.

I'm 41 until October. One month older than Todd. I'm the old guy at the YMCA. Still lift weights and play basketball almost every day. The only thing I notice is that I take a lot longer to heal. As someone else mentioned, 40-something doesn't seem old now that I'm there.

Now its time to get serious about life. Times of worries, uncertainty and orientation are over -- lets start having fun.

    45 since Christmas day.
