    Apple Bowl

This is the first DNA bowl I have done. Thanks everyone for the advice. The process works very well. 10" x 4'' - 400 grit and oil.

Nice I also think the rings on the inside look great.

If I may ask what did you use to put the burn lines in?

I used to use wire but that had many restrictions, pretty much outside surfaces only and parallel to the axis. I learned from one of the posts here several months ago to use a laminate plastic sample chip held firmly with vice grips. I skew a small vee cut to start and then just let the LP burn the line. It generates heat quickly and burns a very nice line.

I wish I knew who to credit and thank for the tip but since I don't I will forward on the process and thank them anyway.

Steve thanks for the compliments. The only signature I put on my work is three burnished lines. I do this to honor the Lord. He has blessed us with beautiful wood, the tools and talent necessary to shape it as well at the time and the family support to enjoy it. So to His honor.

    Thanks for asking.
