    Pen disassembly

What do you do when you make mistake assembling a pen. They sell disassembly tools, before buying I would like to know if they work well.

Save your money...Buy the Harbor Freight transfer punch set. You can disassemble all kit pens (that can be disassembled) with that.

I was making a cigar pen, with different size tubes and I swapped the tubes by mistake. I need to take it apart. I wasn't paying attention when I did it, feel kinda stupid but unless I can take it apart the only thing to do is throw it away and start again. This time being more careful.

Dario said it best, find the right punch to fit the parts and be careful tapping them back out, might have to use a little CA to get the part to hold again

a cigar is easy to take a part

don't feel bad I've done the same and I'm sure I'm not the only one
