    Curly Pear HF

This is the other part of the Pear log that I had made a NE from and posted recently. I rough turned this one on my Delta but finished turned it on my new machine. Measures 7" dia. x 4-3/4" tall with walls at 1/8". Finished with antique oil and Beall buffed. Thanks for looking and comments/critiques always welcome.

Another great one! Do you use a laser or fiber optic light?

What can I say but, ditto to all the other comments! Very, very lovely.

I've got my first HF on the lathe and the shape you have there is the one that was in my mind. Unfortunately, it's not what is on the lathe; yours looks ten times better.
