    Cigar pens in acrylic

These are Rhodium cigar pens from CUSA with acrylic. These are my first acrylic pens. Finish is MM->12000, tripoli buff and WD buff. The smell stinks (literally) and the ribbons are annoying, but the end product is really nice

For the white/blue one, I knew I needed to paint the brass tubes, so I used metallic silver spray paint, which you can see if you look very carefully.

Thanks for looking. Comments and suggestions welcome!

    Hello Patrick,
Both pens are very well crafted, but I don't really like them. The white/blue one looks too pale and cold in my eyes. I like the other one a lot better but I think it would look even better in satin silver or satin gold. I think the high gloss rhodium finish does not go that well with the colour of the acrylic.
    Best wishes

    I like them alot!

I, on the other hand, think those pens are gorgeous. The light colors of the white/blue pen make it really stand out. I wish my pens could turn out even half as good!

Nice work Patrick! Really like the white/blue pen as the color combination makes it really stand out.

Very well done Patrick! I've seen some 'chameleon' tubes for sale for the acrylic blanks, don't remember if they were pricey or not.

I've seen them too, but it's really easy to spray them. That way I don't have too many sizes and colors to keep on hand.
