    Mango

    Hi All,

    No, not Mango from SNL...

I recently got some curly spalted mango from AzS. It was a neat looking blank and I thought it might look okay on an El Toro

The wood turned great and I am happy with the finish it took. Aside from finding it impossible to stay out of the centre band with my reflection I like it a lot.

    Critiques are welcomed please
    Take care,
    Jim

Well I cant call myself a turner but I had to look. Wanted to see what somebody who knows what they're doing does with mango. Now I know. I've got 4 good sized curly mango slabs waiting for a flatwork project. You make me want to hurry up and start that project. Great work.
